Agree with this article as an American. Most drugs prescribed here are either psychotropic, such as ssris, or antacids for GI upset. It reflects our society in a way. We as a culture are impatient and seek quick methods to resolve what is not desired. Divorice is high here as well because of our existing culture. It's a progressive problem regarding how we cope.
